Coyle Equipment Services Introduces OilQuick Couplers to Its Nationwide Hire Fleet

Coyle Equipment Services has expanded its attachment hire offering with the introduction of OilQuick couplers, giving demolition contractors greater flexibility, faster attachment changes and improved efficiency on site.

Available nationwide through all four of our depots, the new OilQuick-compatible couplers allow operators to switch between hydraulic attachments without leaving the excavator cab, helping construction teams maximise productive working time.

Faster Attachment Changes, Less Downtime

Projects such as those on demolition sites often require several different attachments throughout the working day. From hydraulic breakers and pulverisers to selector grabs and shears, each attachment performs a different task, making frequent changeovers essential. Traditionally, changing hydraulic attachments requires the operator to leave the cab, disconnect hydraulic hoses, release the attachment and reconnect the next one. This takes time, particularly when several changes are needed throughout a shift.

OilQuick simplifies the process by allowing operators to connect and disconnect attachments, including their hydraulic connections, directly from the cab. For construction and demolition contractors, this means:

  • Faster changeovers
Switch between attachments in a fraction of the time required for manual hydraulic connections

  • Greater productivity
Spend less time changing equipment and more time carrying out the work at hand

  • Improved operator safety
Reduce the need for operators to leave the cab and manually handle hydraulic connections, risking damage tothe hoses and putting the operator at risk on the ground around working machinery

  • Greater flexibility
Make better use of a single excavator across multiple demolition applications

How Does OilQuick Work?

OilQuick is an automatic quick coupler system designed to make hydraulic attachment changes quicker and easier. As long as your excavator is already fitted with a compatible OilQuick head, CES can fit each attachment with a corresponding OilQuick cradle, allowing it to connect directly to the excavator’s OilQuick system.

For example, a demolition contractor operating a 20-tonne excavator fitted with an OilQuick head can hire a breaker, pulveriser and shear with compatible OilQuick cradles from CES, switching between them as the job progresses without manually disconnecting and reconnecting hydraulic hoses. Simply unhook the attachment on the arm of the machine and hook up to another! This makes it easier to use the right attachment for each stage of demolition, without lengthy changeovers disrupting progress.

Available Nationwide from CES

OilQuick couplers are now available through all four Coyle Equipment Services depots, supporting demolition contractors across the UK.

Whether you’re hiring a single attachment or several for a larger demolition project, we can help you identify suitable OilQuick-compatible equipment for your excavators.
